The Farm is bordered by tall mature trees that create a wooded-wonderland but not to be out done by the cascading falls running the length of the property into Cayuga Lake. We are conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca, the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport (ITH) and an hour from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). ​ Our 7,000+ square foot event barn offers many layout options that let you design the event your way. The barn can comfortably seat 280+ people inside for a reception and there is no need for a tent with plenty of ceremony options such as the enclosed loft, attached porches, custom pavilion or our lavish gardens. The Inn at Taughannock has three on-site wedding venues, including a new one-acre wedding garden. The wedding garden, named "Enchantment", has a 100' x 60' translucent sailcloth tent, a 42' alabaster bar, and a dry-stack stone fire place that it took four masons one year to build. In addition to these marvelous features there are also three fire-pits on site, one of which is cantilevered and hangs above the outer wall over looking Cayuga Lake. One of the most distinctive historic properties in the Finger Lakes, the former White Gazebo Inn B&B, is now open for seasonal events, celebrations and Weddings! This historic regional property is an ideal setting for bridal showers, weddings, and receptions! The White Gazebo is home to an original Victorian gazebo built in 1853, as well as a picturesque period barn, sprawling pastures, and quiet woodland privacy. The regal, historic home includes a private terrace and patio for gathering and reception cuisine, and extensive grounds for walking, or just sitting and sipping wine and enjoying the bounty of the Finger Lakes. Flowers bloom all around! The Inn is a charming, cozy historic home with a recent addition with key amenities- It sleeps 10-12 with a Master Bedroom suite, a cozy family room, and a utility room perfect for staging. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with windows facing the historic gazebo. The Inn is negotiable with a wedding or reception booking.

The Paleontological Research Institution’s Museum of the Earth was established in 2003 to provide the general public with a unique opportunity to explore our world through a mix of natural history displays, interactive science features, and art exhibitions. The museum’s 8,000-square-foot permanent exhibition takes visitors on a journey through 4.5 billion years of history, from the Earth’s origin to the present day. Through hands-on, visual exhibitions and outreach, the Museum of the Earth encourages critical thinking about life on Earth in the past and today, and how our species is affecting the natural world.

The Foundation of Light is a spiritual center for meditation. The study and regular practice of meditation, as an aid to the expansion of consciousness and self-realization, is a fundamental part of all Foundation of Light activities. The founders of the Foundation of Light, John and Kate Payne, along with Mabel DeMotte Beggs, were experts in many forms of ancient healing techniques. Built in 2000, the main Foundation of Light building has several diverse rooms available, depending on your group size and needs.
