Hi! I'm Dennis! My Wife (Rachel) and I proudly own & operate Live Events DJs & Photo Booths! I am a professional, award winning DJ & MC (Master of Ceremonies) as well as an Ordained Minister. Having grown up in "The Cashew Chicken Capital Of The World" I ADORE Chinese food! I have been a DJ since 1999 and have entertained at thousands of events of all types! Live Events DJ's have been awarded "Best Of Weddings '16, '17, '18, '19, '20 & '21"; Couples' Choice '16, '17, '18, '19 & '20 and "Missouri's Best '18!
We have mastered the art of packing most any dance floor! We cater to everyone! It doesn't matter if Grandma and Grandpa want to dance to The Twist, or the younger crowd wants to dance to The Wobble! Since all events are unique, we will tailor the music to fit your specific event! Be careful when choosing a DJ! Your event is VERY important! Be sure to hire a professional DJ that will strive to make your event fun and memorable for your guests! All too often we hear: "my cousin is going to DJ our wedding from his iPhone". Please make sure you hire a DJ who can professionally execute every detail of your event to perfection!

Unforgettable Night Thanks to Live Events Missouri! Live Events Missouri DJ’d our daughter’s wedding on 6/21/25 and nailed it! The music kept everyone dancing all night, and the cold sparklers added pure magic to the first dance and grand exit. The photo booth was a blast and a guest favorite! Professional, fun, and flawless — they helped make the night truly unforgettable. Highly recommend and Live Events will be our go-to for other celebrations as well.

I hired Live Events Missouri to DJ my wedding on 5/31/2025, and worked with Jenna to plan my big day. She helped make it so simple and easy, with fantastic communication. We were able to have two setups as my ceremony was outside and reception inside, so I could still have a walk down song. Jenna helped set the atmosphere and tone for the event. I would reccomend her and Live Events Missouri to help with any wedding, party or event!

We used Live Events for Cold Sparks, Photo Booth, DJ, and Officiant services, and they killed it on all fronts. They were able to add officiating services pretty late in my planning process and made some move in the staffing so that they could make that work as Dennis was now going to officiate AND DJ the reception. They were on time, professional, and kept the party going all night. We did a private last dance, and they even filmed that for us and sent it over which was great because I forgot to set up my phone to record it. Dennis was an amazing officiant and talked me through the ceremony nerves ahead of time (I think he could tell I was anxious). His ceremony script was well thought out and personalized to us which I really loved. I even had friends come up and mention a joke he made as their favorite part of the ceremony. I also appreciated the guide he has you fill out as it lets you give them guidance on if you want religion mentioned and what tone you want the ceremony to take (i.e. do you want jokes or is this to be a serious event). I will 100% be using Live Events if I need a DJ for anything else.
